If your device is older, the web version is your best option; it has the fewest requirements and the most compatibility.

Troubleshooting Common Installation Issues

The most common problem is "Unknown Sources" being disabled. Android blocks APK installation by default for security. Go to your phone's Settings, find Security or Apps, and toggle "Unknown Sources" or "Install from Unknown Sources." After installation, you can turn it off again—m8win will not require it anymore. Some Android versions call this setting "Install from this source" under individual app permissions; the location varies slightly, but the principle is the same.

Occasionally, your device may warn that the APK is unsigned or that the certificate is not recognised. This is normal for apps distributed outside the Play Store. We sign our APK with a valid certificate, but your device may need a moment to verify it. Tap "Install anyway" or "Continue" to proceed. If the warning persists, clear your Google Play Protect cache (Settings → Apps → Google Play Protect → Permissions → Clear cache), then try again.

Security, Permissions, and Account Protection

When you install the m8win app, it requests a few permissions: internet access (to connect to our servers), location (to verify jurisdiction compliance), and optionally notifications (for withdrawal alerts and market updates). We do not access your camera, contacts, or file system. Permissions are confined to what m8win needs to operate.
